PROCESS FOR PREPARING DIARYL CARBONATES FROM DIALKYL CARBONATES

PURPOSE: A process for preparing diaryl carbonates from dialkyl carbonates is provided to efficiently integrate energy and to achieve the improved energy integration. CONSTITUTION: A process for preparing diaryl carbonates from dialkyl carbonates and aromatic hydroxyl compound comprises the steps of: recovering dialkyl carbonates used in reaction and removing reaction alcohol; removing by-products obtained in a process having a boiling point between a dialkyl carbonate boiling point and an alkyl aryl carbonate boiling point formed during the manufacture of the diaryl carbonate; and further purifying the diaryl carbonates.
