The present invention relates to a disinfection apparatus ( 1 ) for disinfecting fluid cleaning of objects, such as health care objects, which disinfection apparatus ( 1 ) comprises a housing ( 3 ) which forms a chamber ( 5 ) with an entrance, a substantially laterally displaceable door leaf ( 9 ) which is arranged in a closed position to close said entrance, and at least one guide element ( 11 ) which extends substantially in the direction of motion of the door leaf ( 9 ) and in whose direction of extension the door leaf ( 9 ) is displaceably arranged, the lower edge of the door leaf ( 9 ) constituting a door sealing portion ( 17 ) which is arranged to sealingly cooperate with a corresponding lower frame sealing portion ( 19 ) in the closed position, the door sealing portion ( 17 ) of the door leaf ( 9 ) being arranged to be moved vertically relative to said opposite frame sealing portion ( 9 ) as the door leaf ( 9 ) is moved from the closed position to an open position. |
