The position measuring device (30) comprises a high-frequency microwave emission/reception device (35) for transmitting and receiving microwaves (32) in the at least first frequency (f1) for determining the position of the mobile object to be measured (31), and in at least one second frequency (f2) for determining at least one electrical property of the antenna body (50). The position measuring device also comprises measuring means (40) for determining the at least one electrical property of the antenna body (50) on the basis of microwaves (132) reflected inside the antenna body (50), in the at least one second frequency (f2).</p>
