Router associated with a secure device

摘要

The router (RT) has an access interface (IRT) for communicating with a confidential device (DC) after authentication of the router by the confidential device. A protocol interpreter (INT) identifies a part of a routing protocol and controls the execution of the part of the routing protocol by the confidential device, where the part of the protocol corresponds to an algorithm for creating a control message required by the routing protocol. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a secured device for being associated to a router in a communication network (2) a method for executing a part of a routing protocol in the communication network in a secured manner.
