<p>According to the invention there is provided a solid softening granule comprising an inorganic carrier selected from alkali metal and alkaline earth metal salts of carbonate and bicarbonate, or a mixture thereof, and a softening system comprising of a locust bean gum polysaccharide and a softening silicone; a process to make the granule is also provided, as well as a laundry treatment composition comprising the softening granule and use of the laundry composition and a method of treating a textile with said laundry composition.</p>
