PURPOSE: A system for charging an electronic payment device using an internet and a method therefor are provided to connect an electronic payment device of a USB device type to a user computer, thereby easily charging electronic payment money through an internet network. CONSTITUTION: An electronic payment device(100) reads and records information for charging electronic payment money. After a user computer(200) inputs user payment information, the user payment information is transmitted to an electronic payment money charging server(300). The user computer transmits charging money information to the electronic payment device. The charging server provides a web page about user payment information according to charging.
