PURPOSE: An air conditioning system is provided to prevent a liquid refrigerant from flowing in a compressor by vaporizing and supplying the liquid refrigerant to the compressor in a heating mode of the winter time. CONSTITUTION: The air conditioning system includes: a compressor(1) compressing a refrigerant of a gas state and discharging the refrigerant of the gas state of a high pressure; indoor and outdoor heat exchangers(4,5); a throttle unit(6) decompressing and expanding the liquid refrigerant flowing in through one of the indoor and outdoor heat exchangers; a four-way valve(7) having a path and switched to change a flow direction of the refrigerant according to a cooling or a heating operation; an accumulator(10) installed on a pipeline between the compressor and four-way valve; and a heating unit(20) vaporizing the liquid refrigerant flowing in the accumulator.
