PURPOSE: A chamfer machine for a flat panel display is provided to stably grab a substrate with a simple structure and prevent falling of the substrate during transfer or stop of the substrate. CONSTITUTION: A chamfer processing unit chamfers a substrate delivered from a substrate loading unit. Transfers(400a,400b) are placed between the substrate loading unit and the chamfer processing unit to transfer the substrate. The transfer comprises a plurality of basic holding units(410) and a safety holding unit(430). The safety holding unit prevents the substrate from being deviated and dropped from the basic holding unit during transfer or stop of the substrate.
