PURPOSE: A sewing machine and a winding device for the sewing machine are provided to offer good attachment, and to secure predetermined friction bonding to mount a spool housing by a winding shaft. CONSTITUTION: A sewing machine includes a stand, an arm, and a driven winding device. The arm has an arm shaft connected to a needle bar pivotally. The driven winding device has a winding shaft(24) used for attaching the spool housing. The winding shaft includes a screw insertion body(46) and an inside hollow part. A female screw comprises a screw part in which taper is formed. The winding shaft include at least one or more longitudinal slits(40). The screw insertion body includes a guide part(50) interacting with the hollow part. |
