PURPOSE: A method for calculating the charge volume of fuel and materials of a blast furnace is provided to set the used amount according to bin using the amount of raw material and fuel loaded per 1 charge. CONSTITUTION: A method for calculating the charge volume of fuel and materials of a blast furnace comprises followings. In case the previous input quantity of pulverized coal and the present input quantity of pulverized coal are compared per charge end and are different, the record which is most similar to the present input quantity is searched in a table set up in advance and the total amount of raw material and fuel loaded in one charge is set up(S12,S14). The amount of the raw material and the fuel according to the bin is calculated using the set use amount and the total amount of the fuel and the raw material(S16).
