PRIMERS FOR DETECTING NOROVIRUS AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING AND DETECTING NOROVIRUS GENES COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for detecting norovirus is provided to specifically react to norovirus which causes clinic symptom of acute gastroenteritis. CONSTITUTION: A primer set of one step RT-PCR for detecting norovirus gene contains sequences of sequence number 1 and 2, and 4 and 5. A primer set of semi-nested PCR contains sequence of sequence number 2 and 3, and 5 and 6. An one step RT-PCR kit contains the primer set, DNA polymerase and buffer. A method for detecting norovirus genotype comprises: a step of extracting viral RNA from a sample; a step of performing RT-PCR of viral RNA using the primer set; a step of performing semi-nested PCR of PCR product using the primer set; a step of conforming PCR product through electrophoresis; and a step of determining specific reaction to norovirus type 1 and 2.
