PURPOSE: An OLED display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form a short prevention hole in a lower part of a pinhole, thereby basically blocking connection between a power layer and a gate metal layer caused by the pinhole. CONSTITUTION: A power layer(102) is formed on a front side of a substrate(100). A power insulating film(104) of at least one layer is formed on a front side of the power layer. The power insulating film is exposed to an etchant reacting to the power layer. A wet etchant flows in along with a pinhole of the power insulating film. A short prevention hole(160) wider than the pinhole is formed by over-etching of the power layer. At least one TFT(Thin Film Transistor) is formed on the power insulating film.
