PURPOSE: A cooling fan unit for a subrack is provided to install a cooling fan to be near to an important unit having a lot of heating quantities, thereby preventing malfunction of equipment caused by high heat. CONSTITUTION: A frame(320) is inserted into a slot of a subrack. A front panel is formed on a front side of the frame, and is fixed to the subrack. Cooling fans(360) are installed on the frame. A cooling fan unit(300) consists of various cooling fans, and is installed to be near to a right side or a left side in parallel with a unit(210). The frame consists of a temperature sensor and a controller(370). The controller controls the number of the cooling fans according to set temperature.
