PURPOSE: A method for using rock as a far-infrared ray emitting material, and a method for using it in the human body are provided to use effectively the rock having a high efficiency of heat exchange for health. CONSTITUTION: A method for using rock as a far-infrared ray emitting material uses the rock which comprises andesine and clinoenstatite (MgSiO3) mainly as crystal, wherein the andesine has a composition of Na0.622Ca0.368Al1.29O8 and its chemical composition comprises SiO2 49.5 wt%, Al2O3 13.7 wt%, CaO 6.54 wt%, MgO 3.67 wt%, Fe2O3 15.4 wt%, K2O 0.88 wt%, Na2O 2.17 wt%, TiO2 1.95 wt%, MnO 0.18 wt%, ZnO 0.07 wt%, CuO 0.04 wt%, ZrO3 0.04 wt%, BaO 0.04 wt%, SrO 0.03 wt%, and P2O5 0.73 wt%.
