REDUCTANT FOR DECREASING ACIDITY OF CRUDE OILS AND METHOD FOR DECREASING ACIDITY OF CRUDE OILS USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for reducing acidity of crude oil and a reductant for the crude oil are provided, which make application to crude oil facilitated and do not require an additional process. CONSTITUTION: A method for reducing acidity of crude oil includes a step of mixing crude oil containing naphthenic acid with compound 0.01~5 wt% having amine radical. The crude oil containing the naphthenic acid has total acid number of 0.2~10 mg KOH/g. The compound having amine radical is one or more materials selected from the group consisting of hydrazine, hydrazine hydrate, and urea. The reductant for the crude oil is compound having more than one kind amine radical selected from the group consisting of hydrazine, hydrazine hydrate, and urea.
