PURPOSE: An electric boiler using sodium is provided, which rapidly heats heating medium passing through the neighboring heat exchanger using heat generated in phase change of sodium. CONSTITUTION: An electric boiler using sodium comprises a casing(10), a sodium furnace(30), and a heat exchanger(40). The casing comprises a heater(5), a constant space, heating medium inlet and outlet(12,15), and insulating material. The sodium furnace is arranged inside casing in the longitudinal direction and is heated by the heater. The sodium furnace comprises the space storing the sodium in the vacuum condition. The heat exchanger surrounds the sodium furnace. The heat exchanger has a spiral channel. The upper end of the spiral channel is connected to the heating medium entrance through the connection pipe. The bottom of the spiral channel heats the heating medium.
