PURPOSE: An output control device of a television capable of motion detection is provided to control image output and voice output according to motion of a viewer, thereby providing power saving effects in consideration of a viewing intention of the viewer. CONSTITUTION: A motion detection signal input unit senses motion of a viewer. A storage unit(35) stores a motion detection result according to the motion detection signal. A motion determining unit(34) outputs the motion determination result of the viewer. An output controller(33) outputs an output control signal which gradually controls image output and voice output.
