PURPOSE: A rotating device of a car body production line turntable is provided to supply a rotating member comprised of a rotor and a stator made of a permanent magnet and a coil and to prevent backlash. CONSTITUTION: A rotating device of a car body production line turntable comprises a turntable shaft(1a), a rotating member(10) and a housing(20). The turntable shaft is connected to the turntable and delivers the torque to the turntable. The rotating member transfers the torque to the turntable shaft so that the turntable rotates. The housing eliminates the heat from the rotating member, fixes and supports the rotating member. The rotating member comprises a liner(11), a rotor(12) and a stator(13). The liner surrounds the turntable and guides the turntable. The rotor surrounds the liner and generates the torque with the magnetic flux. The stator surrounds the rotor and reacts to the magnetic flux of the rotor with the alternating current in order to generate the torque. The rotator is the permanent magnet and the stator is the coil.
