<p>PURPOSE: A capacitive touch panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to isolate two substrates patterned with transparent conductors by using spacers, so that optical oil can be filled in a gap between the substrates. CONSTITUTION: Spacer members(130a,130b) maintain a gap between a first substrate(110) and a second substrate(120). If a conductor touches an upper side of the second substrate, capacitive combination is formed between the conductor and first and second transparent electrode patterns(115,125). If a nonconductor touches the upper side, the gap is reduced by transformation of the second substrate at the touch location. The touch location is detected by a change of capacitance at the touch location caused by the gap reduction.</p> |
