PURPOSE: A reciprocating motion engine is provided to secure an air-tightness between the inner circumference of a cylinder and the outer circumference of a piston ring and to prevent damage inner or outer circumference of the cylinder or the piston ring. CONSTITUTION: A reciprocating motion engine comprises an annular top ring(5), an annular second ring(6), an annular gas room(7) and a plurality of connection paths(8). The annular top ring is a first piston-ring. The annular top ring is arranged on the uppermost class(4) of a piston(3). The annular second ring is a second piston-ring. The annular second ring is arranged on the uppermost class of the piston and separated based on a top ring. The annular gas room is divided with the top ring and the second ring. The connection path connects the annular gas room and a combustion chamber(2). The top ring and the second ring are more declined to X direction, in which piston moves up and down, than to an opposite thrust side(10).
