FIELD: motor industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to device of force limitation for use in vehicle, which is equipped to control suppression of force that appears in emergency situation in a vehicle between two parts moving relative to each other. Device comprises kinematic device of energy absorption with such parametres that with set profile of difference in speeds of parts that started moving in emergency situation relative to each other, various levels of force limitation are realisable depending on mass of parts that started moving and impulse produced in emergency condition. Device for limitation of force for self-blocking mechanism of safety belt retraction consists of safety belt shaft that retains safety belt and is installed in supports in body, at the same time system of masses that reacts to rotation of safety belt shaft in direction of unwinding, is made of large number of double-arm balance weights (16), which are distributed along circumference of safety belt shaft and installed in bearings with the possibility of swinging around central support point (17) that is fixed in body, which in both end positions of their oscillating motion, with their tooth (19) arranged at their both ends, are engaged with external toothed rim (15) of toothed ring (13), which in emergency situation is connected to safety belt shaft and rotates together with it, so that oscillation of according balance weight (16) in process of toothed ring (13) rotation relative to balance weights (16) is created by means of sliding of side surfaces of teeth (19) on balance weights (16) from side surfaces of external toothed rim (15) of toothed ring (13). ^ EFFECT: achieved improvement of safety due to control of limited release of safety belt. ^ 42 cl, 17 dwg |
