FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic fracturing using proppants. The proppant contains aluminium silicates, prepared from precursor ceramics, which contain geopolymers, powdered ceramic sol gel which has roundness and compression strength suitable for use as a proppant. The method of making said proppant involves the following operations: formation of a sol gel composition by mixing precursor ceramics - aluminium silicate and aqueous solution of an alkali metal silicate; formation of granules and evening out their surface in a granulating machine; their solidification, obtaining ceramic sol gel in form of particles with roundness and compression strength suitable for use as proppant. ^ EFFECT: reduced specific weight of proppant, easier transportation into fracturing liquid, deeper injection into cracks before settling. ^ 16 cl, 3 ex |
