FIELD: measuring technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to measuring technology and is designed for determination of vehicle traffic speed and for control performed by road-patrol services of the GIBDD (State Inspection of Road Traffic Safety - SIRTS) over observance of regulations and rules of the road. The method consists in determination of road movement speed by means of selection of specified values of controlled movements of vehicles with two or more spaced sensors of movement control, in reading and processing signals, in recording time of movement of vehicle for passing specified length of road with succeeding calculation of vehicles movement speed. Each vehicle is identified by means of at least one sensor of identification attached to the vehicle; aerials are used as sensors of movements of the vehicle. Aerials and a receiver-transmitter are implemented for signals pick-up from passive or active (passive-active) radio RFID tags used as sensors of identification. ^ EFFECT: facilitating vehicle movement control and identification of vehicles. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg |
