FIELD: physics; acoustics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics. The housing is made from separate chambers which are connected by a pipe. An electroacoustic transducer is fitted at one of the housing, and a radiating element at the other, where the ratio of the length of each next pipe to its cross sectional area is less than the ratio of the length to the cross sectional area of the previous pipe. Another version of the acoustic radiator is also proposed, which is fitted with an acoustic transducer and radiating elements. The housing of the radiator is made from separate chambers which are connected by a pipe.
