FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is provided for improvement of properties of casted product by means of flexible regulation of cleaning process. Method includes removing of loose scale and other foreign materials from top and/or bottom side of casted product, such as slab, thin slab, profile and similar, by means of fluids, spattered by casted product (3) by means of cleaning facility (5), consisting of at least one spray unit (8), located over casted product (3), and at least one spray unit (9), located under casted product (3). Excluding of probability of supercooling of edges and other parts of product is provided ensured by that medium pressure, and if necessary, quantity and/or effective width of spraying are directed for each spray unist (8, 9) separately and independently of time, and if necessary, feeding of fluid is stopped. Device allows corresponding equipment, herewith spray units (8, 9) and/or located on it sprayers (13) are implemented with ability of actuation by means of device of control/executive system. ^ EFFECT: improvement of properties of casted product. ^ 24 cl, 6 dwg |
