FIELD: measuring technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to meteorology, particularly to methods of determination of physical parametres of atmosphere and facilitates receiving information about altitude of lower border of cloudiness by means of measurement of distance up to fragment of cloudiness chosen as object of measurement. Altitude of lower border of cloudiness is determined by means of receiving two non-uniformly scaled images of the lower cloudiness fragment chosen as an object of measurement made with two identical optic-electron instruments; the instruments are arranged so, that their vertical lines of sighting coincide, the front main planes of optic systems conjugate, also optic systems of optic-electron instruments have different focus distances. ^ EFFECT: upgraded validity and accuracy of determination of distance up to fragment of lower cloudiness chosen as object of measurement and having earlier unknown linear dimensions. ^ 1 dwg |
