METHOD FOR ASSESSING RISK OF THROMBOSIS OF VEINS OF LOWER LIMBS IN PATIENTS WITH ACUTE ABDOMINAL PATHOLOGY

A method for assessing the risk of the thrombosis of the veins of lower limbs in the patients with the acute abdominal pathology comprises the examination of the patients. Upon admission and 24-72 hours postoperatively, the patient is examined. The risk of the venous thrombosis is given in sum of scores indicating to the mild, the moderate or the severe risk calculated separately pre- and postoperatively. Then the methods for non-specific and specific prophylaxis are selected.
