The layer (1) has a rectangular thin support strip (2) made of flexible material e.g. elastomer terpolymer such as ethylene propylene diene monomer, and two sealing strips (3, 4) made of pure synthetic foam and possessing elastic recovery properties and better compression capacities. The sealing strips are arranged parallel to one another in a longitudinal direction and at a preset reciprocal distance with respect to longitudinal edges (5, 6) of the support strip. The support strip has thickness ranging from 0.5 millimeter to 1.5 millimeters.
