The preform (10, 30) comprises stacked plates (31, 32, 33, 34) each having a back-o-back layer of supplementary volume. The supplementary volume has a cube or truncated octahedral shape whose edges are beveled or smoothened and a concave/convex fillet, and are embedded when the plates are stacked so that they define spaces between them at free gaps (35). A fluid state material is filtered in the free gaps. First and second plates superposed such that a supplementary volume of the first plate produces a protrusion at a level of a lower/upper surface of the plate. First and second plates superposed such that a supplementary volume of the first plate produces a protrusion at a level of a lower/upper surface of the plate and a same number of volume of the second plate produces a reinforcement at a level of a lower/upper surface of the second plate. The protrusion is housed in the reinforcement during the stacking of the first and second plates. Each superposed plates produces the protrusion and reinforcement such that to obtain a continuous transformation on two upper and lower parallel surfaces of the volume. Each transformation defines an orthogonal antisymmetry according to a median plane with two faces. The plates are agglomerated granules with a binder and made of soluble material, and have different outer contours. A hole traverses through the thickness of the preform. An independent claim is included for a process for fabricating a solid material with cellular structure by molding.
|
