An anti-theft box or case for an information carrier such as a CD or DVD, which has a novel elongated and peripheral safety zipper manufactured in a single piece that complements the case and zipper; the case includes parts that complement the peripheral zipper, said parts being located at the outer surface of the cap and base walls, which upon being brought together, due to the closure action, provoke two latching blocks to be coupled without any possibility of being separated; the two complementary parts of the zipper are attached to the outer, side and front walls of the case by means of the apex of inverted pyramid-shaped supports, where the apex is the joint between the walls and the zipper, said joint must be broken for detaching the zipper or longitudinal lock so as to open the case and remove the content therefrom.
