The present disclosure relates to a surgical apparatus for positioning withi n an incision in tissue. In one aspect of the present disclosure, the surgical access apparat us includes an elongated seal member configured to removably receive at least one surgical object, and a deployment member. In another of the present disclosure, the surgical access apparatus includes a housing configured to removably receive at least one surgical object, an elongated member, and at least one filament. A method of percutaneously accessing an underlyin g surgical work site using the surgical apparatus is also disclosed. |
