<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality optical intercept system in which a failure rate is few, which intercepts abnormal light with high sensitivity, and whose security is high even in such a case that high output light is input from an optical fiber to which a user side device is connected by a malicious user or an accident, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: In a network system, where an optical concentrator 10 is connected to a plurality of optical network devices 100 via a plurality of optical connection parts and an optical branching network part 30, the optical branching network part 30 has one port on the side of the optical concentrator; and a plurality of branching ports on the sides of the optical network devices, an optical fiber on the side of the optical concentrator connects the optical concentrator 10 to one port on the side of the optical concentrator; an optical fiber on the side of the optical branching network part connects the branching ports on the sides of the optical network devices to an optical intercept part 51; and an optical fiber on the side of the optical network device connects the optical intercept part 51 to the optical network devices 100.
