PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optical equipment in which an emission angle of a light flux can be detected and an exact focal position can be detected simply and easily.

SOLUTION: The optical equipment is equipped with a phase element for adding a spiral phase to incident light, a light-condensing means for converging light to which the spiral phase is added by the phase element and a detection means for detecting the light condensed by the light-condensing means.
