<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail device, allowing safe and easy transfer of a user while minimizing the movement of his/her body. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail device includes an arm part fixed to a fixing member, and a body holding part supported to be rotatable around a substantially vertical rotating axis relative to the arm part.
