<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a toilet seat device capable of avoiding interference of the rear part of a toilet seat with a tank or the like when the toilet seat is rotated, and allowing a user to use a hand-rail or the like at a closer position; and a toilet apparatus equipped with the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The toilet seat device includes a base part fixed at the upper part of a toilet bowl, and the toilet seat attached to the upper part of the base part. The toilet seat is movable in the longitudinal direction approximately along the upper surface of the base part.
