<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus of monitoring and saving the work in a confined place for finding an accident, reporting, and saving successively. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The apparatus of monitoring and saving the work in a confined place includes an electrocardiograph which an inside worker working in a confined place wears and carries, a detector for detecting the atmosphere in the confined place, a take-up rope fixed to the body of the inside worker with the one end, a winch for taking up the rope while it is mounted near the entrance of the confined place, and a control device for drawing up the inside worker to the entrance of the confined place by operating the winch when the electrocardiograph detects the accident of the inside worker or the atmosphere in the confined place is abnormal.
