<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency amplifying device in which a slope adjustment circuit is arranged in an AGC (automatic gain control) loop, and an AGC control circuit performs slope adjustment without performing a malfunction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A high frequency signal input to an input terminal 21 is output from an output terminal 27 through an amplifying part 22, a gain adjustment part 23, a first slope adjustment circuit 24, an amplifying part 25 and a branch circuit 26. The branch circuit 26 branches a portion of the signal, and outputs the portion of the signal to the AGC control circuit 30 through a second slope adjustment circuit 29. A slope control part 28 controls so as to be slope operations opposite to each other for the first slope adjustment circuit 24 and the second slope adjustment circuit 29, and the second slope adjustment circuit 29 corrects a changed part of a pilot signal by slope adjustment of the first slope adjustment circuit 24. The AGC control circuit 30 adjusts the gain of the gain control part 23 on the basis of the pilot signal included in an output signal of the second slope adjustment circuit 29.
