PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging device with which the cost of the whole photographing apparatus is made low and smooth and high-quality photographing is made possible. SOLUTION: The solid-state imaging device A includes a substrate 21, a plurality of photoelectric conversion units 22 built into the substrate 21, a light transmission layer 30 laminated on the plurality of photoelectric conversion units 22, and a resin package 40 which seals the substrate 21 and light transmission layer 30. The solid-state imaging device A is provided with a light control layer 60 in which light transmissivity changes according to the quantity of light between the resin package 40 and photoelectric conversion units 22.
