PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition capable of improving bottle retention performance against an impact at the time of a fall by restraining curvature of the partition plate and a placing plate, and capable of effectively preventing bottles from breaking even if the packing box falls with its side surface and its bottom surface in a downward direction, and a packing box with the partition. SOLUTION: The partition is made of one sheet of paper board as a whole including an upper-partition plate 10, a lower-partition plate 11, the placing plate 12, and a bottom plate 13 individually corresponding to the flat shape of a packing box in the horizontal direction and arranged at predetermined intervals in this order from above. Two opposed sides of the upper-partition plate 10, the lower-partition plate 11, the placing plate 12, and the bottom plate 13 are each combined or bonded with a front plate 14 and a rear plate 15 in a vertical direction corresponding to a front face and a rear face of the packing box. The upper-partition plate 10 and the lower-partition plate 11 are each provided with a plurality of upper supporting holes 10a and lower supporting holes 11a which support body parts of bottles 3. A shock-absorbing space S formed between the placing plate 12 and the bottom plate 13 is provided with reinforcing plates 16 raised in a vertical direction for connecting the placing plate 12 and the bottom plate 13 with each other.
