FIELD: measuring technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to measuring technology and is designed for diagnosis and forecasting of internal combustion engines; it can be used at bench tests. The method of diagnosis and forecasting of operating condition of internal combustion engines during their operation consists in measurement and conversion of signals into complex spectres appearing at ignition and burning of fuel mixture in a combustion chamber, in determination of a relative complex index, in comparing it with the reference index and in forecasting process of destruction of engine part material. An ion signal is chosen as the reference one; acoustic and ion signals are measured in pairs in at least two diametrically opposite zones of a cylinder; further, summary acoustic and ionic complex spectres are determined; relative complex indices of measured zones are specified by means of division of acoustic spectre by corresponding ionic one; then relative summary complex index is established by means of division of summary acoustic spectre by corresponding ionic one, comparing their values with reference values, and relative complex indices of zones are compared between each other; condition of internal combustion engine is accessed and process of its destruction is forecast. ^ EFFECT: disclosed method of diagnosis and forecast of technical condition of internal combustion engine during operation facilitates upgrading accuracy of evaluation of condition of internal combustion engine and increasing its service life. ^ 1 dwg |
