PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a simple apparatus for reforming a gasified gas, ensuring hydrogen production to be increased. SOLUTION: The method comprises the following process: a tar-containing gasified gas and oxygen are fed into a reformer; and the gasified gas is partially combusted to raise the inside temperature of the reformer to a reform-aiming temperature necessary for the objective reforming, thus accomplishing the reforming of the gasified gas. In the method, an amount of oxygen 9 enough to give the reforming-aiming temperature through combusting the gasified gas by the oxygen and a first-step gasified gas 3a are fed via one end of the reformer 1 to form a heating zone A in the reformer 1, and the rest of the gasified gas is fed as a second-step gasified gas 3b to the vicinity of the heating zone A to form a reforming zone B.
