PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR cooler which can efficiently combust and eliminate an accumulated particulate matter such as soot and can maintain heat exchange performance by a simple structure without causing a large amount of a pressure loss of reflux gas. SOLUTION: The EGR cooler 10 is arranged with a leaf-shaped heat storage body 13 which combusts the particulate matter accumulated in the exhaust gas in a heat-exchange pipe 12 along the longitudinal direction of the pipe and at its upstream.
