A process for the production of polystyrene foam wherein HUPERMER 2296 is used as surfactant, and at first stage the components are mixed at stirrer revolutions of 600-700 rpm, at second stage the components are mixed for 5-7 min. at stirrer revolutions of 600-700 rpm and for 2 min. at stirrer revolutions of 1100-1200 rpm. The foam produced is kept at temperature of 75 °С for 24 hours, and heat treatment is carried out at temperature of from 150 to 250 °С for 15 min. |
