PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevating chair which can certainly and easily establish the seat part location and is also excellent in designability or economical efficiency. SOLUTION: The elevating chair 10 has a pair of braking plates 22 and 23, which has a shaft insert hole 21 penetrating a movable shaft 19 which moves and one end of which is attached to a chair body 10a in such a way as to open and close, and a stopper member 24 which is inserted in space between braking plates 22 and 23 and is prepared in such a way as to establish the cross angle of the shaft insert hole 21 and the movable shaft 19.
