PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water disinfection apparatus which can easily stabilize the effective chlorine concentration of water with a low-cost constitution. SOLUTION: The water disinfection apparatus 10 comprises a tank 12 for receiving a water to be disinfected, a water-level sensor 14 for detecting a water level in the tank 12, an electrolysis unit 16 arranged in the tank 12, a controller 18 for controlling the action of the electrolysis unit 16, and a pump 20 connected to the tank 12. If the water-level sensor 14 detects the lower limit of water level, the pump 20 stops to drive, and a timer 24 starts to count a determined time. Correspondingly with it, the controller 18 makes the electrolysis unit 16 start to act. If the timer 24 counts the determined time, the controller 18 makes the electrolysis unit 16 stop to act. Thereafter, if the water-level sensor 14 detects the upper limit of water level, the pump 20 starts to drive, and the water level in the tank 12 falls. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
