<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonator and a filter that are suitable for reducing the size and reducing the height. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A first internal electrode 51 is cylindrical and embedded in a dielectric base D. A second internal electrode 52 is columnar and embedded in the dielectric base D to have its outer peripheral surface opposite an inner peripheral surface of the first internal electrode 51. A connection conductor 54 is embedded in the dielectric base D so as to connect the first internal electrode 51 and the second internal electrode 52 to each other. The first internal electrode 51 and the second internal electrode 52 include the dielectric base D, interposed therebetween, so coupling capacity is generated between the first internal electrode 51 and second internal electrode 52. Furthermore, the first internal electrode 51 and the second internal electrode 52 have inductor components and are connected to each other by the connection conductor 54, so resonators Q1 and Q2 each becomes a parallel circuit of a capacitor C and an inductor L.
