<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system for measurement capable of accurately measuring optical characteristics of an object to be measured. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The optical system for measurement includes: an objective lens 31 for condensing luminous flux emitted from the measurement region of a liquid crystal panel 11; a lens 33 having positive powder disposed at the rear of the objective lens 31; an aperture diaphragm 32 disposed between the objective lens 31 and the lens 33; three light receiving elements 38A-38C; a lens 35 for turning luminous flux transmitted through the lens 33 into nearly parallel luminous flux and for allowing the three light receiving elements 38A-38C to receive the luminous flux; and an interference filter 36 disposed in the optical path of the nearly parallel luminous flux.
