<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify working, reduce construction period, and reduce cost when a fire-resistant coating panel is installed around a column. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A mounting metal fitting is secured to the end surface of the panel with a width obtained by adding a panel thickness and a clearance dimension to the width dimension of the column. A support metal fitting is secured to the rear surface of the panel near the position on the opposite side thereof the mounting metal fitting is secured. A panel required for the periphery of the column is prepared. When the panel is mounted, the fire-resistant coating panel, the mounting metal fitting, and the support metal fitting are brought into contact with and arranged on the column while aligning the panel and these metal fitting with the end surfaces of the fire-resistant coating panel, the fire-resistant coating panel is fastened to the mounting metal fitting by inserting a machine screw into the end of the panel.
