<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blowby gas treatment device for an internal combustion engine, suppressing deterioration of fuel consumption of the internal combustion engine without decreasing an efficiency for separating a fuel component from blowby gas. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This blowby gas treatment device for the internal combustion engine is provided with: a blowby gas introducing passage 11 for introducing the blowby gas in the internal combustion engine 1 to an intake passage 7; a separation section 13 separating the fuel component from the blowby gas by rotation of an impeller 19 provided in the blowby gas introducing passage 11; and a drive section 29 rotatively driving the impeller 19 by using power of the internal combustion engine 1. The drive section 29 has a clutch section 35 provided in a power transmission path leading from the internal combustion engine 1 to the impeller 19 and intermittently transmitting power from the internal combustion engine 1 to the impeller 19.
