<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser-engravable printing original plate capable of manufacturing a printing plate excellent in resolution without generating a defective print. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A laser-engravable flexographic printing original plate isobtained by casting light on a printing original plate provided with a photosensitive resin layer on a support to crosslink and cure, wherein the photosensitive resin contains a water-dispersible latex (A), a hydrophilic monomer having an ethylenic unsaturated bond (B), a hydrophobic monomer having an ethylenic unsaturated bond (C), a rubber (D), and a photo-polymerization initiating agent (E).
